English film director Alfred Joseph Hitchcock passed away on April 29, 1980 at the age of 80.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential people in the history of cinema — known as the “Master of Suspense” — Alfred’s career spanned six decades and brought the world masterpiece movies like Psycho, Vertigo, and Rear Window.
After many decades of steady decline, Alfred is back. In the UK, Alfred ranks #80 today, the epitome of stylish vintage. Over in the US parents are only just starting to get the memo, with Alfred hovering around the 800 mark.
