Pallas
Greek, "wisdom"
Pallas is the name of two (technically three) figures in Greek mythology, one male and two female, all with somewhat violent associations. The male Pallas is the Titan God of Warcraft. The female Pallas was the childhood best friend of the goddess Athena, daughter of Zeus. Athena accidentally killed Pallas during what was supposed to be a friendly fight, and then took her friend’s name in honor, calling herself Pallas Athena.
Pallas, pronounced like the word palace meaning castle, has ancient roots, an excellent meaning, and is also exceedingly rare. Only seven baby girls were named Pallas in the US in the last year counted, and no boys.
