Magician and comedian Penn Fraser Jillette was born on March 5, 1955 in Massachusettes.
Along with partner Raymond Teller, Penn makes up half of the entertainment duo Penn & Teller. The team has been performing since the 70s, famous for their ongoing act that combines elements of comedy with magic.
The pair have been featured in numerous television and stage shows, and hold the record for the longest-running headliners to play at the same hotel in Las Vegas history.
The boy’s name Penn has a preppy and intellectual air to it, bringing to mind the prestigious Ivy League University. However, unlike Yale, Oxford, or Princeton, Penn feels a bit more every-man and down-to-earth.
Penn has been given to around 50 baby boys each recent year, possibly boosted by Gossip Girl actor Penn Badgley.
