Sawyer began her career as a local weather broadcast journalist, but climbed her way to the big leagues. In her career, Sawyer was the anchor of Good Morning America, ABC World New Tonight, and Primetime newsmagazine at ABC News, and hosted CBS Morning as well as becoming the first woman correspondent on 60 Minutes at CBS News.
