Anders
Anders Celsius was born on November 27, 1701 in Sweden. An astronomer, physicist, and mathemetician, Anders famously invented the Celsius temperature scale, used in all but a handful of countries in the world.
This variation of Andrew is both a classic Scandinavian boy’s name as well as the second most popular surname in Sweden.
Anders has been floating around the bottom of the US popularity charts since 2010, feeling friendly and approachable but still exciting and unexpected.
If the standard Andy and Drew aren’t your style, you may like English Anderson, Greek Andreas, French Andre, Finnish Antero, or even the Turkish Ender — a nickname for Andrew used in the sci-fi series Ender’s Game.
There's an important NPC in the campaign I'm DMing named Ander 😲
