Fashion designer Kenzō Takada, known as simply Kenzo, passed away on October 4, 2020. Kenzo entered the US Top 1000 for the first time ever in 2018, and now ranks at Number 585, making it one of the most popular Japanese names in the US ever. The name retains (more or less) its authentic Japanese pronunciation:
