On June 9, 1891, legendary American composer and songwriter Cole Porter was born in Peru, Indiana. Porter’s most famous compositions include “You’re the Top” and “Anything Goes”. The name Cole made the US Top 100 from 1997 until 2010, but has since been surpassed by the longer form Colton. Cole is currently most popular in Scotland at Number 67.
