Anemone
Greek, "daughter of the wind"
Also known as the windflower, anemones are gorgeous, graphic flowers with connections to Greek mythology. Anemone is incredibly rare as a given name, charting only twice: in 2012, when it was given to six baby girls, and in 2023, when it was used for five.
Anemone would make a striking floral name for a daughter, much more unusual than the likes of Iris and Poppy. But pronunciation difficulties — the N and M sounds make this name a bit of a tongue twister — may make Anemone better suited for a middle name.
